Wool Coat
Price includes postage.
Here’s a new batch of dark navy blue (black in the shade, navy in the light) wool coats. They’ve been made in Large and Extra Large, using 350 GSM wool flannel from Waverley Mills in Tasmania. This wool is made from 18 micron, so it is very soft to the touch, soft enough to wear on bare skin. Because of this softness though, they will pill at first, so require brushing out from time to time.
Small wool coats remain in the heavier duty New Zealand made melton wool in dark olive green.
The Wool Coat is a pullover, designed to be worn under the Waxed Canvas Anorak or as a garment in its own right.
The Wool Coat is an important, hard wearing, comfortably loose fitted, always present, warmth layer to your outdoor clothing. Ideally worn with the Wool Pants.
The Wool Coat has a fitted hood that moves with your head, big roomy hand pocket for comfort and warmth, all key wear edges are reinforced with with waxed canvas binding, neck and cuffs are done up with tagua nut slot buttons.
This coat is a very hard wearing, thoughtfully designed and made right here in Eldorado. It’s an essential bit of gear in the bush.
Please note: To simplify design and make, we are not placing side zippers in the wool coats any longer.
Sizing
The Wool Coat is designed to be roomy and long in the arm. This is to ensure maximum cover and freedom of movement when done up, and when being pulled over the head.
Before taking your measurements, please wear the clothes you’ll likely wear under your coat.
