Waxed Canvas Anorak Type 2
Price includes postage.
A new design iteration on the waxed canvas anorak, one in dark brow and the other in olive green., both with contrast features. These two fit 65-75cm arm length and 115-135cm chest/belly circumference.
Changes include:
A reduction in pattern pieces which means less seams, including no seam on the shoulder
A larger hood, constructed with a pleat design that puts no seam in the top of the head
A longer body length and no waist ties built in, encouraging you to use your own belt instead. This helps to simplify the anorak and reduce seams and wear points.
Kangaroo leather on the higher wearing edges of the hand pocket and sleeve cuffs our binding instead of piping, which gives better protection on those edges.
A selection of colour combinations based on a range of Australian-made waxed canvas I’ve been able to source over the months.
Still in the design are:
The fully zippered side seams that quickly get the anorak open for maximum venting, use as a poncho, use as a ground sheet, easier waxing and repair.
10 ounce, Australian-made waxed canvas
Tagua nut (vegetable ivory) slot buttons
One large hand pocket and a kangaroo pouch in front
Simple draw cord skirt in the hood
3 placket storm flaps
